We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

There are so many facets to love it was difficult to know where to begin; yet, as a Christian, I had to begin here. Those of us who have the tiniest understanding of the monumental grace of this gift are overwhelmed with the love of God.

Tullian Tchividjian, in his book One Way Love*, explains it this way: “Grace is unconditional acceptance given to an undeserving person by an unobligated giver. It is one-way love.”

Brennan Manning described it as indiscriminate compassion. He wrote, “Abba’s love cannot be comprehended. I’ll say it again: Abba’s love cannot be comprehended.”**
